Gritman Medical Center is pleased to announce that Becky McLeod, RN has been selected as the new director of Gritman Surgical Services.

McLeod joined Gritman in July 2011 and has served as Interim Director of Surgical Services since November. She has 25 years of nursing experience, including seven years in surgical services management. Before joining Gritman, McLeod served as clinical manager of Operating Room and Sterile Processing at St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood, Washington, where she managed a team of more than 50 operating room and sterile processing staff.

Gritman conducted an extensive search for the new director, interviewing several candidates from around the U.S. McLeod was selected for the position based on her excellent record of accomplishments in nursing leadership.

"Becky has already made significant contributions to the department," said Deena Rauch, Gritman's Chief Nursing Officer. "She is committed to excellence in the areas of clinical outcomes, patient experience, and surgeon satisfaction."
