Inaugural U-Night aims to bring schools together
Moscow High School and Moscow Middle School, in partnership with Gritman Medical Center, will host the first ever U-Night, 7-9 p.m., December 4, in the Moscow High School Bear Den, 402 E 5th St. 
U-Night aims to bring both schools together to support local athletes and to raise funds and awareness for the schools respective food bank programs.
To kick off the event, the Moscow Varsity Boys’ basketball team will take on Shadle Park High School at 7 p.m. The first 500 students in attendance will receive a free T-shirt and lanyard, courtesy of Gritman Medical Center. In addition to this, there will be games and raffles for prizes and pizzas. The event will also feature performances by both the MMS and MHS marching bands and cheer squads. 
Attendees are encouraged to bring two nonperishable food times to donate to the food bank. All those that donate will be entered into a special raffle. Gritman Medical Center has pledged to match all food donations made the night of the event.
