Echo-Screen III to provide better newborn hearing test

MOSCOW—Gritman Medical Center recently purchased the all new Echo-Screen III, a newborn hearing screening technology.

This BPA-free technology allows children to be diagnosed with congenital hearing loss earlier, potentially preventing delayed speech and langue development.

Combining advanced capabilities with its proven and trusted screening technologies, this next generation Echo-Screen III handheld device allows medical personnel to test newborns accurately and quickly. Natus manufactured devices are the only to incorporate its proprietary technology and algorithms used in tens of millions of newborn hearing screenings worldwide.

“Our goal at Gritman Family Birth Center is to give all our babies the best start to life, screening for hearing has always been an important element of our individualized nursing care,” said Ashley Rogers, Director of the Gritman Medical Center Family Birth Center.
