Improved care for Potlatch as Gritman holds open house at new clinic Friday, Dec. 12
Gritman Medical Center will host an open house from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 12 at its new Potlatch Family Care facility.

The clinic is at 156 N. 6th Street and its normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Gritman broke ground on the 2,400 square-foot clinic in May and construction was completed in November. The public is welcome to the event, which will feature live music, food and tours. The phone number for the Potlatch clinic is (208) 875-2380.

The new facility underscores Gritman’s commitment to serve the health care needs of all Latah County residents. The new building has three exam rooms and one procedure room to better accommodate both scheduled and walk-in appointments. Services offered at Potlatch – and Gritman’s other two rural clinics – include wellness checks, infant to senior care, pre-employment and DOT physicals, Medicare and Medicaid exams, chronic disease management, immunizations, pregnancy and reproductive health testing, health testing and urgent care for coughs, colds, minor cuts and injuries

Gritman has invested in upgrading its clinics recently. In addition to Potlatch, Gritman operates Family Care Clinics in Kendrick and Troy. The Troy Clinic was remodeled June 2012. Kendrick Family Care moved into their newly-remodeled building in December 2013.
