Gritman Medical Center welcomes new care coordinator
MOSCOW— Gritman Medical Center is pleased to expand services for rural Medicare Fee-for-Service beneficiaries by welcoming Marisa Gillaspie Aziz as a care coordinator in the Nursing Administration Department.
Gritman Medical Center announced its participation in the National Rural Accountable Care Organization (NRACO) earlier in the year. The program is designed to help rural Medicare Fee-for-Service beneficiaries live long, healthy lives. As part of the new program, Gritman Medical Center hired Gillaspie Aziz to serve as a care coordinator.
Gillaspie Aziz will work closely with patients – helping seniors stay healthy, get great care when needed and avoid costly and wasteful repetitive tests.
Gillaspie Aziz joins Gritman with experience as a heart failure specialist at St. Jude Medical, five years as a clinical nurse specialist at St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way, Washington and three additional years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the Medical/Surgical department at St. Francis Hospital.
Gillaspie Aziz is also an Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist, certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She earned her Masters in Nursing from Pacific Lutheran University. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, gardening and being outdoors.
