Gritman Medical Center has scholarships available for students pursuing education in a health care field during the 2017-18 academic year. There are six scholarships available, all with a submission deadline of March 17, 2017.
Gritman’s health care scholarship program helps address shortages of local physicians and medical staff. Funds are reinvested into the community to support medical education and increase the number of health care workers in rural areas.
Since 2011, the Gritman Medical Center Foundation and Gritman Volunteer Services have awarded more than $50,000 to students seeking degrees in health care fields.
The program is supported by annual fundraising events and generous donations from individuals, businesses and local organizations.
