Gritman's Family Birth Center was recently recognized as a Safe Sleep Champion by the Inland Northwest Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) Foundation for their commitment to best practices and education on infant safe sleep.
The Inland Northwest SIDS Foundation is a nationally recognized 501C3 dedicated to educating the public on safe infant sleep, bringing awareness to SIDS/SUID and providing emotional support to those who have experienced a pregnancy or infant loss.
Gritman Medical Center was presented with this award for following all safe sleep guidelines recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and providing training programs for parents, staff and the community.
