MOSCOW—For people with diabetes, preparing delicious, healthy meals can seem overwhelming and expensive. But with some simple planning and smart shopping, it is easy to create great-tasting, well-balanced meals without breaking the bank.

Gritman Clinical Nutrition & Diabetes Care, in partnership with the University of Idaho Coordinated Program in Dietetics, is offering a guided grocery store tour on Wednesday, March 4 from 4-5 p.m. at Safeway, 1320 S. Blaine St., Moscow. It is free and open to the public. Registration is not required.

The tour, “Reducing A1C through the Enjoyment of Food,” will help participants learn about key food shopping skills like buying foods on a budget, comparing prices, and reading food labels.
